Adrian Furnell is a PMI and APPT Accredited Professional Trustee.

Adrian has 40+ years’ experience with Mercer, IBM, Saga, the AA, Rank Xerox and Uniper to name just a few of the major companies he has worked for.

For much of his career, he has been responsible for the management of occupational pension schemes both DB and DC both from the Company and Trustee aspect. He also has an appreciation of wider Employment law, insurance, and overall benefit issues.

His roles also included pension strategy ensuring that the same strategy and provision met all Trust Deed rules and relevant legislation. He works in a collaborative manner with both Trustees and Employers.

Adrian is an Accredited Professional Trustee with both the Pensions Management Institute and the Association of Professional Trustees. He was also an advisor to the Pensions Advisory Service.
