Palwinder is a Non-Executive Director, PMI Accredited Professional Trustee and M&A, Corporate & Commercial Lawyer.

Palwinder has 10+ years’ experience in director roles with Standard Chartered Pension Fund Invensys Pension Scheme, Foyer Federation and Industry & Parliament Trust.  His legal career spans 30+ years’ working for a global bank (Standard Chartered Bank) and multinationals (Motorola, BTR / Invensys now Schneider Electric & Alstom) and an international law firm (Wilde Sapte, now Dentons). Leadership positions include Managing Director / Head of Group Legal for M&A and Corporate, VP & Regional Legal Director and Senior Counsel. Expertise in M&A, corporate and commercial transactions, legal advisory and leadership.

Palwinder currently serves on the trustee boards of two large pension schemes – a hybrid scheme with c.£1bn DB assets and c.£300m DC assets; and a DB scheme with c.£3bn assets. In addition to the trustee boards, he serves on board committees covering governance, administration, audit, risk, investment and funding.

Palwinder is an Accredited Professional Trustee with the Pensions Management Institute.
